LFC Alumni Laney Carroll Grabs Her FIRST Goal at Texas A&M

LFC Alumni Laney Carroll (Class of 2020) saw action this weekend in a Texas A&M win against Ole Miss in the SEC. After taking a half to knock the rust off, the Texas A&M Aggies pulled away in the second half to secure a 3-0 win over the Ole Miss Rebels in Saturday evening's season-starting soiree.

61' – Laney Carroll worked the ball down to the left corner. She then toyed with her marking defender before dribbling to the left corner of the 6-yard box where she blasted a shot inside the post for her first career goal. A&M 3, OM 0.

Check out the post game interview to see what Coach G Guerrieri had to say about Laney Carroll’s game play this weekend here

The game that Laney Carroll had, all night long, just was a constant thorn on the side of the Ole Miss defense... it was fun to see and i think its a good sign for the future.
— Coach G Guerrieri

It’s worth it to note that Coach G had a great opportunity to scout Laney Carroll at last year’s Legends College ID Camp held at SilverLakes in Norco. He, along with many other college coaches, were able to find talented players for their programs at this event. This year’s Girls College ID Camp will be held January 9th-10th at SilverLakes Park in Norco
